While PoE systems are high resolution and popular these days, sometimes they cannot be used due to network security requirements or company security protocols that prohibit the use of network based equipment such as PoE PTZ cameras. That's where good old analog security cameras come in, such as the 2K Analog PTZ Camera we use in this video. Standalone security camera systems also commonly referred to as CCTV Systems are still an important part of the security industry. They allow deployment of standalone HD security camera systems over coax wire without needing any Internet or CAT5 ethernet cabling. There are multiple uses for a standalone PTZ security camera system such as observation for a manufacturing process, or use on a construction site to mount to a crane. A PTZ system can even be used to televise live video to a TV for churchgoers. The 2K Analog PTZ by Avalonix that we use in this video runs over RG59 Siamese cable and is powered by 24VAC current. It is model PTZCV4M30NVX and can be found here: https://www.cctvcameraworld.com/infra... We connect it via one BNC cable to the back of our 4 channel 4K DVR, model (XVR04K). It can be found here: https://www.cctvcameraworld.com/4-cha... To control the PTZ camera, we use our PTZ Joystick Controller (model PT500) by connecting it with one network cable directly to the network port of the DVR. You can find the controller at the link below: https://www.cctvcameraworld.com/pan-t... There is very minimal setup required since it is all coax based analog equipment that is not complicated by IP addressing that is required in IP camera systems. Once all the cable connections are done, and the devices are powered, the camera sends video and you can easily control it using either the DVR or the Joystick controller. You can find more PTZ cameras and more information about the PTZ cameras we offer on the PTZ camera page: https://www.cctvcameraworld.com/ptz-c...
