What’s that? A Greenline 40 with a pair of diesel engines? No hybrid drive? No electric drive? That’s right, in this tour, review and sea trial we have a Greenline 40 with twin Yanmar diesel engines and therefore a good opportunity to get to grips with it as a boat, rather than a vehicle for alternative propulsion systems. The 40 is a fascinating design with an obvious affinity for inland cruising but our offshore sea trial in Portorož, Slovenia was a good opportunity to test its mettle out at sea, among the waves. On board, there is a focus on single-level living on the main deck and the connection between the cockpit and salon. Below, there are two double cabins and one bathroom but they are all spacious and practical in their design.
