Many of us have been part of the “skinny scarf” craze! There’s the popular Sophie scarf, the Joy scarf, and the Dustland, to name a few. Today, at Country Needleworks, we are giving you many options of yarns for these scarves. We start with the Cashmere Dream Keyhole Cowl that uses one little ball of Lang Cashmere Dreams. Pam is wearing the Sophie made from a cotton and soy silk called Baby Soft Fancy from Laines du Nord. The Joy scarf used two strands for a combined DK weight. That combination was from Ayni from Amani and Suri Stratus from Plymouth. We also carry Urth fingering that has a mohair dyed to match. after walking around the store, we got excited to find many more yarn options: Happy Feet, Bamboo Pop Sock, Sandnes Garne Sunday, Tynn Silk Mohair, Suri Stratus, Essentials Mohair and more! If you want to work with only one strand of yarn, Berroco Ultra Alpaca Light is very soft and has that halo as part of the fiber due to the alpaca content.
