A man who was shot dead by Manteca police officers after hitting multiple police cruisers with his vehicle has been identified. Charles Mcgonegal, 69, died after Wednesday's shooting in the parking lot of an In-N-Out Burger, police said. According to the police department, officers responded to the area of the In-N-Out located off Yosemite Avenue and Highway 99 just after 5 p.m. Wednesday. One witness told KCRA 3 that everything began when the man was behind her in the drive-thru and began hitting and ramming her car repeatedly. Mcgonegal was asked to leave the In-N-Out without being served because of his behavior, police said.
