Symptoms of Acute HIV Infection

Symptoms of Acute HIV Infection The first month following your HIV infection is considered your acute HIV infection, whereas the six months following your infection are referred to as your primary HIV infection. In terms of infectiousness and immune system harm, this early stage represents a crucial time. You could experience short-term illness after contracting HIV. Non-specific flu-like symptoms, such as fever, swollen glands, a sore throat, oral ulcers or thrush, weight loss, exhaustion, body aches, vomiting, and a rash, may be present in early HIV infection. One to four weeks following infection, this condition known as seroconversion sickness typically develops. At least 50% of infected people develop symptoms of seroconversion sickness, with as many as 80% or 90% having it. Watch the FULL Video of HIV Symptoms now!
