In 1993 I was a producer on "The Phil Donahue Show" and was in the audience when Denny Dent performed a "two fisted art attack" and painted this 6' tall Elton John portrait as he listened to the music of Elton in front of a crowd of invited guests in Orlando Florida. I was so taken with his performance that I purchased the Elton John painting following the event and also flew Denny Dent to New York City to paint for us live on the Donahue show on an episode about art. This is the 10 minute video of Denny painting the Elton John portrait that's hung in my living room for the last two decades.
