Two points I wanted to clear up: 1) Obviously Leprechauns are not the size of adults; I apologize for any confusion there. Regardless of how I described a Leprechaun, I often ended up with a adult human. 2) Clurichauns (about the same size as Leprechauns) were commonly known to wear red, not some of the other colors that may have been presented here. While they share some similarities with Leprechauns, Clurichauns have distinct characteristics and are considered a separate type of fairy or supernatural being, albeit an unruly one.
