Today we decided to do something calm, peaceful, and relaxing… So naturally, we went hiking in Florida. Welcome to the Shady Oak Trail at the Lakeland Highland Scrub Nature Preserve — a quiet little park with shaded oak forests, boardwalk crossings, sugar sand (so much sugar sand), and some genuinely beautiful Florida scrub scenery. In this casual walking vlog we: *Test our patience against Florida “sugar sand” *Debate trail maps and questionable side paths *Wonder what kind of animal made very large footprints *Complain about it being 80 degrees in January *Contemplate if a cloud formation is a storm cloud or fire smoke You know… a normal relaxing nature walk.
