MORE DETAIL: In my workshop, I rely on a two-horsepower dust collector and a 4-inch PVC pipe system for effective dust collection. While this setup works well, I've recently upgraded it with a new, over-engineered gasket clamp that addresses two key issues: sealing pipe joints and mounting the system securely. The first problem is minimizing air leakage at pipe connections. While tape and sealant are common solutions, they can be messy and difficult to remove. My new gasket clamp solves this by using two foam gaskets that create a tight seal without the hassle of tape or silicone. It’s easy to install and reconfigure the system whenever needed. The second issue is how to securely mount pipes to the ceiling or walls. My previous solution, 3D printed straps, wasn't as sturdy as I wanted. The new clamp includes a bracket that slides onto the clamp and provides a secure mounting system, making installation far more reliable. The clamp has two versions: the stepped version for connecting pipes to fittings, and the flat version for fitting two pipe fittings together.
