Channel 4 journalist Secunder Kermani documents the Israeli army's largest military operation in the occupied West Bank, including illegal land theft and mass displacement of Palestinian refugees. The foreign affairs correspondent interviews former residents of Nur Shams refugee camp in the occupied West Bank who were forced to leave after evacuation orders from the Israeli army with some 40,000 Palestinians having been displaced in the occupied West Bank. Kermani also visited the Palestinian home in the refugee camp that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stormed, forcibly pinning an Israeli flag to the wall of the raided home. The apartment was left vandalised with pro-Israeli graffiti, faeces smeared on children’s clothes and household appliances destroyed. Nur Shams refugee camp, originally established as a refuge for Palestinians displaced by the creation of Israel, has been completely deserted amid Israeli military incursions and forced displacement. Kermani also interviewed the Jafri family who were displaced after their home was demolished by Israeli settlers and used to build a settler outpost, an act that is deemed illegal even under Israeli law.
