Hailing from the Arnyek Islands, D'Vorah's realm was conquered and annexed into Outworld by Shao Kahn at some point in history, after which she vowed to serve the emperor in order to avoid becoming a slave. Rising in political power, D'Vorah became the second-in-command and closest adviser of Shao Kahn's successor, Kotal Kahn, assisting him in the civil war against Mileena. However, D'Vorah's primary motive is The Hive's survival, the birth place of all other Kytinn, as she is the last known living member of her species.
