Many thanks everyone, this Ferrari has been sold! The Bring-A-Trailer auction for this vehicle is now live and can be accessed here: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/198... The auction will end this Friday, July 1st at 10:10AM, West-Coast Time. This particular Porsche 930 Turbo is a standard, German Domestic Market Example ordered new in the Fall of 1988 and delivered on November 21st of the same year. It carried the normal complement of standard options as well as nine of the commonly available and ever popular options of the time but in addition to these it had the highly desirable Sport Seats with both electric adjustment and seat heating. From the Porsche assembly records we have the following details at time of order and assembly: Year 1989 Make Porsche Model 930 Turbo Coupé Type 930/770 Commission Number 472K Ordering Distributor "Code C00” German Domestic Market Ordering Partner “1130130" VIN WP0ZZZ93ZKS000309 Engine Type M930/66 Engine Number 67K00245 Gearbox Type G50/50 (Five-Speed / Limited Slip) Gearbox Number 1K01044 Tires Dunlop High Speed/High Load Exterior Color (Code Q9) “Slate Grey Metallic" Interior Color (Code YS) Grey Full Leather Ordered New October 27th, 1988 Completed November 10th, 1988 Invoiced New November 21st, 1988 In-Warranty Date November 21st, 1988 End-Warranty Date November 22nd, 1990 Options: -139 Left Seat Heating -220 Limited Slip Differential -243 Short Shift Gear Lever -340 Right Seat Heating -383 Sport Seats Left, Electrical Height Adjustment -387 Sport Seats Right, Electrical Height Adjustment -567 Graduated Green Top Tinted Front Windscreen -650 Electric Sliding Sunroof -975 Special plush velour front trunk carpeting This Porsche was originally build for the German Domestic Market as evidenced by production Code “C00.” It was never road-registered but instead delivered brand new to Japan where it became part of a private museum collection. This Porsche’s first owner opted for two very popular period updates, either through his local selling dealer or privately. These consisted of a front mounted lower valence air-dam that had a central air inlet for an oil-cooler as found on the rare "Turbo S” variants, however none was fitted and there were also two white “Iodine” fog lights. On the side of the car were fitted “boxed” rockers, just below the doors as normally found on the M504 / M505 Porsche Turbo Factory Slant Nose vehicles. The car was first registered new in Japan in December of 1988. The car would have a total of five Japanese owners prior to our purchase earlier this year. The previously noted aftermarket options on the car still remain with the car as originally fitted by the first owner early in 1990. Upon arrival, this Porsche was sent to James Millar for complete and total services and safety checks and the fitting of a new muffler. Compression was checked and all six cylinders were found to have 140psi each indicating an extremely healthy engine. Please let me know how else I can assist with any inspections and test drives as needed. Kind regards and my thanks always, Bill Noon Symbolic International At Veloce Motors Vault 9340 Dowdy Drive Suite 102 San Diego, California 92126 USA Phone 619 840 7811 Email bill@symbolicinternational.com Website www.symbolicinternational.com
