In this outing, Donkey Kong has been captured by the Kremlings and it is up to Diddy (who brings along a "girl"-friend, Dixie) on the adventure to save him. Critics praised the game for upping the difficulty and the further improved graphics, which were already superb in DKC 1. It became the 2nd-best selling game of 1995 (even though it was released in December). Additional Notes: We are now in the upper tier of SNES music!
