Although The Hollow Knight is about as hard as Gruz Mother, it's as hard as Gruz Mother for a reason. To tell a story. A story about a once powerful vessel weakened by the Radiance to the point where at Phase 4 it can barely walk. At Phase 3 it's clear how weak it is, it staggers often, it tries to take control of its body and tries to stab itself, and the Radiance takes complete control of its body and slams it around. The Radiance is a moderately difficult and EXTREMELY epic showdown against the cause of the infection. The cutscene between Phases 3 and 4 is really epic, and the entire fight has an aura of power, it really feels like you're fighting a god. The attacks are hard but fair. 90% of the time, when you get hit it feels like it's your fault and your fault alone, not complete RNG. (looking at you Grey Prince Zote) Congratulations Radiance, so far you and Nightmare King Grimm are the only double-damage bosses I actually enjoy Also Kingsoul is a PAIN to get I HATE WHITE PALACE All credit goes to Team Cherry.
