Southeast Louisiana Inshore Fishing I made it back out to these platforms in my 18ft Jon boat chasing Speckled Trout with a jig. Conditions have to be right, but I learned from my last trip that it pays off. I'm sure spots like this can be duplicated in other places, but I'm not sure it could be too much better. This technique is just called "tight lining." It simply means fishing a jig without a cork. I'm sure a cork would have been more efficient, but I just love to feel the strike! Notes Specific To This Video: 1) If you have been watching my channel for any amount of time, you know I rarely keep my limit and do what I can to promote the sport of fishing over hauling meat. I don't use my ice chest or pictures of piles of fish to promote my videos, and I do not freeze fish and only keep what I have plans to cook fresh for my family and friends or plan to give to someone that will never have the chance to go catch their own fresh fish. 2) I almost always give information about my general location and time/date of my trips.
