THE JAWS ROLL FROM PAD TO PAD. From one address to another, from one pad to another, from change of "business" name to another and wow, havent things moved quick this week in Timaru. History is forever changing, but as much as it changes, memories will always remain, whether its good or bad. Two clubhouses that have stood their ground for many years in Timaru, made some headlines over many years but in the last week or so, headlines were really grabbed as one clubhouse, was taken over and as of today, that has now been turned to rubble and fill. The Devils Henchmen clubhouse which has been in Washdyke for many years, was taken over last week by Rebels but in one hell of a surprise move, that possession was short lived as the local council purchased it and quicker than Jack Flash, in came the demolition crew, and down it came. Got too hand it to the operator, very impressive operator, gone are the days of the swinging ball and chain, but with levers in his control, and a powerful jaw, it didnt take too long to have all buildings down and flattened. I may have missed the main structure, but the side building didnt take too much before it was rolled and rubbled and great steering of that big arm, as the parked car wasnt even harmed lol. The ever changing landscape, the great thing is, whether good or bad, memories will always remain and this property certainly would have memorys implanted in many from many years, just like the other clubhouse on the other side of town.
