She makes herself comfortable, pours herself a drink, prepares to eat. Soon, his speech, like a flow of thought, reveals flaws from which spring images, memories: happy moments and mourning, dark thoughts and moments of enjoyment, eroticism and emotions. She realizes, and the public with her, that she is in shock: she has just had a car accident... and we follow her to the brink of death, experiencing what the one could call a “hierophany”: the manifestation of the transcendent in a phenomenon of our cosmos. Yann Robin and Yannick Haenel, with the complicity of Arthur Nauzyciel, imagined a one-of-a-kind monodrama, an unidentified operatic object with 27 artists on stage. Embodying the young woman, Élise Chauvin is an actress-singer, her voice is a haunting and panting breath. Singing is the realm of the Choir which, completed by the ensemble and the electronics, acts as a guide to death, relying on the Tibetan Book of the Dead, the "Bardo Thöd(r)ol" which means "the great guide by listening in the intermediate states”. A work that auscultates the carnal density of memories and emotions.
