The Texan with the golden voice began his career in 2004 with the band Aunt Kizzy's Boyz. The group, critically acclaimed after its first album Trunk full of bluez, jammed with Slash, Dennis Quaid and Joe Louis Walker. Six years later, buoyed by this success, bluesman Sugaray Rayford founded his own eponymous band. With his friends, he continued to tour the halls, playing festivals, hosting evenings in clubs or filling concert halls with the same passion and enthusiasm. In May 2011, Sugaray Rayford added another string to his bow with the Mannish Boys, where he became one of the lead singers. Hyperactive, quick to engage in several side projects, Sugaray Rayford writes his songs like his diary. Intimate introspections whispered under the breath or chanted with the strength of the heart, the bluesman's songs are experienced like a party. An exemplary frontman, Rayford flourishes on stage. He adapts to his audience, feels their emotions, lives with them at night and offers the spectator a fascinating and unique show. Today a lone cowboy of the blues, this giant is soon to release a new album The World that We Live In.
