Youth perspective, representation, leadership, and participation are all needed in order to prosper as a society. Noah Vong is a junior at Denver East High School. He often considers himself one who's easy to talk to, mellow and even-tempered, and dedicated to his commitments. As the Junior Vice President of East's Student Council and a future president of Club APSA (Asian Pacific-Islander Student Alliance), he finds himself taking on leadership roles, as an act of compassion for his peers, school, and community. He is proud to be an Asian American individual and always will be. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
