I'm very proud of this timelapse even though it might not look particularly amazing. The reason is that I managed to catch aurora on the horizon, in the middle of Southampton (early on the morning of 1/5/2025), when the aurora apps were advising that things would only be visible from northern England and higher. However, between the silhouette of the house on the right, and the crane on the left, there is clear aurora movement. There are also some faint rays and a little bit of colour. It helps that they turn the streetlights off in Southampton at 1:00am! Taken on a lowly (and ancient), but highly reliable iPhone 7 plus and the Nightcap app. Different speed versions also available on this channel.
