This video will show you how to dissassemble you Nova Delay to add the option for external tap tempo (in case you have multiple delay units) and external preset selectors. This mod will work for the Nova Delay and Nova delay iB Modified. The tap tempo should also work for the Nova Repeater. This is great if you have multiple delay units, so you can tap in your tempo just once. THIS WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY You can also pay people to do this mod for you, however if you have a torx screwdriver, a drill with 12mm bit and a soldering iron then this mod should cost less than $5. FYI, some people (myself included) noticed that Boss and TC units didn't sync up at the same time. This can be seen in the video. I personally didn't notice because I have a fairly even stroke when pressing these pedals, and the Boss and TC units have different time measuring clocks, so the numbers will always be different. That said, Boss use a Normally Closed (NC) circuit, and TC use a Normally Open (NO) circuit. If your Boss registers your tap when you press the switch, and the TC registers the tap when you release the switch, then you may need a DPDT momentary switch, instead of the SPST switches shown in the video. In this case the Sleeve of your jacks each need to be connected to a center prong, and the Tips of your jacks will need to be connected to either the NC or NO pole according to with pedal is being used. This will cause the boss and TC units to sync up at the same time. Hope this helps. Feel free to comment or PM me with any questions.
