AMD B550 Chipset What A Mess! RIP Upgrade Path For Budget Users

AMD launched a sucker punch to the legions of fans and end users that were looking forward to the B550 chipset and motherboards. And now it has been widely reported that the B550 chipset unlike the X570 chipset will have ZERO backwards compatibility for the older 2000 series chips and APU's So those of you who have been waiting to update your motherboard or have already invested in a high end 2000 era CPU will be out of luck. The reasoning is that the B550 BIOS or UEFI doesn't have the physical space to support these processors but yet the A320 chipset can support pretty much everything from a Ryzen 3 1200 right up to the 3950x??????? MSI and others have re-released fan favourites like the tomahawk range with enhanced MAX versions to address this so what is stopping that carrying on into the future? Look at the X570 chipset! That has a massive range of CPU and APU support and is also confirmed as being suitable for the Zen 3 or 4000 range of desktop processors. This for me has been very frustrating and from the comments received on the previous B550 video it seems i am not alone. The mainstream YT community have been quite supportive of AMD's master plan, but they are in a position to easily spend out money for a whole new platform. Myself and many others are reliant on backwards compatibility to allow partial upgrades when funds allow.
