Farmer's market season is coming up so today I'll be sharing my Market Bag tutorial using eco-friendly materials. So grab your crochet gear & let's get started. Just few tips before we dive in. The crochet skills I'll be using today are single crochet, chaining, and slip stitch. So if any of those are new to you, I have tutorials on my YouTube channel. Go check those out. And I have a lot of other tutorials & free patterns on my website bagsbybento.com. Last but not least if you enjoy this tutorial hit like & subscribe there will be more free patterns coming. Alright, let's get going. To crochet the market bag today I'll be using 2mm jute twine. This one's from the Dollar Tree. You need four rolls so it takes a grand total of $4 to make this bag. If you would like the written pattern to help you follow along the written tutorial, you can find the link in the description below. If jute twine isn't for you, good news, cotton will work just as well. I recommend Re-Up by Lion Brand because it's recycled. It's a little bit easier to work with. It has a softer texture. I'll be using a 6mm crochet hook. This one is an extra long Susan Bates. I'll also need a tapestry needle. Any variety will work. And a pair of scissors.
