Hero Xtreme 250R & Karizma XMR 250 First Look Video From EICMA | India Launch In 2025

Hero MotoCorp unveiled two new 250cc motorcycles at the 2024 EICMA motorcycle show in Milan, Italy. The Hero Xtreme 250R has a muscular and aggressive styling which makes it look very appealing. The Hero Karizma XMR 250 gets more of a design update, but the addition of winglets give it an aggressive stance. Both the motorcycles are powered by an all-new 250cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine churning out 29.58 bhp at 9,250 rpm and 25 Nm at 7,250 rpm. In comparison to the Karizma XMR, the new bike produces 4 bhp and 5Nm more, which is significant. The steel trellis frame has been optimised for engaging handling dynamics and it rests on a USD fork and monoshock setup. Braking hardware consists of disc brakes on both ends with dual-channel ABS as standard. Both the new Hero 250cc bikes feature a new 4-inch TFT screen which gets Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. An interesting detail on the Hero Karizma 250 is the adjustable clip-on handlebars which will change the riding position. Pricing for the Hero Karizma XMR 250 hasn’t been revealed yet but we expect it to go on sale in the first half of 2025 and it will be priced over ₹2 lakh (ex-showroom).
