Beinn Fhada.

The Trail that kept on giving. Beinn Fhada has been a firm favourite for quite some time. Well built stalkers path, incredible terrain, and a great mix of gradient. Add in the fact its a solitary Munro, and it makes a pretty sweet day out. This Munro was part of a bigger trip last month, where I'd hoped for a few big days in Kintail, namely after the Five Sisters before the snow hit. Day one was thwarted by 40mph winds and I decided to get after the North Cluanie round. I had hoped to get up on the Sisters Ridge the following day but much of the same was forecast and after a hellish first day with a mixed bag of riding, I just wanted an out and out incredible descent, for me. That incredible descent followed in the form of Beinn Fhada.
