It's my new daily driver, and besides the amazing display, curved glass, fantastic battery life, and so much more, I love the awesome camera and app features: 1. Super fast! Double tap the home button, from lock screen or in any app and it will launch the camera, in just a few milliseconds. Capturing photos is fast too, just snap away, or hold down the button to capture burst mode, about a thousand frames per second. Even the processing of panorama stitching is very fast. 2. Auto focus is crazy fast too! With Samsung's new "Dual Pixel" technology, it's sorta like using 100% of the pixels (phase detection) to determine auto focus, rather than the average 5-10%. #3. Video and picture clarity and quality is fantastic. Super crispy and sharp, saturation looks well balanced, color accuracy looks spot on. Dynamic range is impressive too, plenty of details in the highlights and shadows. In video mode, I can shoot 1080p at 60fps, 720p at 240fps!!!, or UHD 4K at 30fps. The large iris opening (low aperture) of f1.7, helps with a lot of things, like sharpness, better low light performance, beautiful bokeh, and very shallow depth of field. #4. PRO mode. Full control over exposure, shutter speed, ISO, white balance. Full manual focus control, with focus assist built-in. Custom color tones to shoot a more flat picture profile (great for post-processing). #5. The wide variety of shooting modes. Auto, Pro, Selective focus, Panorama, Video collage, Live broadcast, Slow motion, Virtual shot, Food, Hyperlapse, Animated GIF, Surround shot (aka "Google Photo Sphere"), and even more available for download. It's super convenient and efficient that all these helpful camera modes are brought together in one app. Lots of potential for future growth. (PS: I'd love to see a Time Lapse mode soon!)
