Honestly, An Underrated Playset - LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2012 Spider-Man's Doc Ock Ambush (6873)

Today I cover my thoughts on the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2012 Spider-Man's Doc Ock Ambush (6873) which I managed to buy this year for a decently affordable price which gives me the only LEGO Minifigure of Iron Fist to date. Overall, I think I was hard on this at release but it still ranked highly on my Every comics set ranking video. The figures at the time were the ones doing a lot of the legwork for me but I have to say, now having looked at the set in person, its the build that impressed me the most. If I used this little display as a superheroes team up scene for the heroes and villains, you get something that looks like a great display of all these characters fighting one another I like lab like builds in LEGO and I loved some of the parts used here which were rare parts even at the time. I’m really glad I did end up getting this set all these years later.
