Africans are Polyglots and The World Needs to Acknowledge This - Lorna Likiza

I will be talking about the many languages spoken in Africa and touching on why the rest of the world often does not seem to acknowledge this. I will also talk about why there’s currently a need to make Kiswahili (which is my first language) an official African language and also mention the African literary scene (which I’m a part of) and the involvement of African languages in it. Please note that I will only include some words in Kiswahili in my talk, here and there and not use entire sentences in Kiswahili and I will give a reason why.
