It's the series that nobody asked for, and nobody needs - an Irish guy traveling around Israel and Palestine. This series was created in 2022, and was supposed to be uploaded last year, but obvious events got in the way. I was originally waiting for the horror in Gaza to end, but now we know that won't be happening. Just across the Qalandiya Checkpoint, a mere 13 miles from Jerusalem, but in another dimension entirely, is the capital of culture in Palestine, and the current seat of the Palestinian government. Ramallah is the party capital of Palestine, with pubs and clubs and cafes and good vibes. It's my favourite spot to use as a jumping off point in the West Bank, and its an absolute pleasure to walk around and bump into fantastic characters. During this episode we'll also take a little peak at the town of Bil'In, famous for it's non-violent resistence, in the longest running protest against the occupation.
