These three long-distance leys are the ones which each have two serpentine energy currents winding round them, detectable by dowsing. The Michael Line, found by Paul Broadhurst and Hamish Miller, runs from Suffolk to Cornwall, and has currents called Michael and Mary. This inspired Gary Biltcliffe and Caroline Hoare to find the Spine of Albion, a ley from the Isle of Wight to northern Scotland, first found by Guy Ragland Philips but also found by Gary and Caroline to have curving currents, named Belinus and Elen. The third, the Holy Axis, recently found by them, goes from Iona to Lindisfarne, and has currents known as Lugh and Bride. There have been various cases of time anomalies on or near these - some seemingly exhibiting the natural phenomena of the time storm, something researched in depth by Jenny Randles and which causes mysterious losses of time. But there are also timeslips and examples which seem to be images projected from previous times. These are often places where the currents cross areas of geological faulting, and rocks of certain types, and there are often sightings of balls of light, unnatural silences and feelings of timelessness.
