Where Is He Going??? SCX24/RC4WD Land Rover D90 Hard Body - Debut Crawling Video!

Hello everybody! Here's the first video featuring my custom built Axial SCX24 with an RC4WD Land Rover D90 hard body on it. I purchased this body almost two years ago with the plans to mount it to my SCX24 chassis. I had to move the receiver/ESC from its existing location, dremel out some of the interior, and slightly shorten the the wheelbase in order to make it all fit together properly. The body is held onto the chassis by a combination of a hinge mount system and a strong magnet. It was honestly a bit more work than I originally thought it would be, but it was fun and well worth it! This hard body is considerably heavier than the lexan Chevy C10 body that originally came on my SCX24, so I upgraded to brass wheels and I also added more weight inside the wheels to bring down the center of gravity. I still plan to eventually upgrade to brass axle housings, or at least install some brass add-ons onto the existing axle housings. In an effort to make the truck look as "scale" and realistic as possible, I also made front and rear inner fenders out of thin, black styrene sheets to hide all the wiring and such.
