Many people online have noted that their playsport will no longer charge. I found out WHY it won't charge, and it's almost silly. Most people (like myself) are probably grabbing the first microUSB cable around the house and assuming that it will charge off that. IT WON'T! You need a tablet charger or something with a bit more "oomph!" to get the device to charge its own battery. Some people have said that you need a specific cable or alter the pins within the device. PLEASE don't do that. You'll ruin your camera. See this post, first.
