Assam: Himanta Biswa Sarma unhappy over COVID-19 patients spitting inside hospital in Golaghat

COVID-19 patients who have been put under quarantine in Eastern Assam’s Golaghat district are violating every guideline issued to ensure that the novel #Coronavirus does not spread in the state. State health and finance minister Himanta Biswa Sarma after reviewing the health conditions of the 8 patients at Swahid Kushal Konwar Hospital, said that the patients were spitting inside the hospital. Sarma who was unhappy with the activities of the COVID-19 patients at the hospital opined that community leaders must come forward to make the patients understand about the gravity of the situation. The Assam Health Minister further said that the treatment of COVID-19 patients are being visually recorded as a counter to rumours doing the rounds that the patients are not being fed and treated in a fair manner.
