This is a project that requires patience, persistence, and sincere attention to detail, to complete. It did, most definitely, improve print quality for our printer. And the Dell 5100cn Laser Printer (after this process) is still working very well, even after several weeks. We are very happy (today is March 26, 2021 and we did this on March 7, 2021) and all is well. It is important to note that we did, indeed, try all the other options by replacing the ink cartridges, toners, fuser, transfer rollers, developer, imaging drum, and even the developers (as recommended by Dell), which simply did not work. This alternative process (cleaning the laser box) is a last resort. Cleaning the laser box can be frustrating, but, if implemented correctly, may improve the print quality for the Dell 5100cn Laser Printer. We also attempted to have our Dell 5100cn Laser Printer repaired by authorized Dell Service Repair Companies. However, that service is not available in our area, so we did the work ourselves. As such, we used common sense and ingenuity, and got lucky, presumably from many years of experience of servicing the printer ourselves. We are not experts and we are simply providing this video for those who want to do this themselves.
