The film stars Dharmendra, Supriya Chowdhury, Agha, Sailesh Kumar, Tarun Bose and Madhavi. The music is by Sapan Jagmohan with lyrics by Shailendra. The film is a romantic triangle, filled with misunderstandings especially when the past lover (Sailesh Kumar) enters the life of a happily married couple. It's a drama that depicts the true bonding and love of a wife towards her husband.. Storyline:- Life was all summer and sunshine for Seema. Her husband Prakash bestowed unstinted love on her. The hearth and home breathed the spirit of love and faith. But a cloud appeared on the horizon - to upset the sublime serenity of the home. He was Deepak, a college mate of Seema and a bosom friend of Prakash. His presence became a menace of no minor magnitude. Kishan, an innocent kid was living a miserable life of a servant of the neighbors. Seema was drawn towards him -she felt for him. But she could do nothing to get him out of the hell he was in even when she found out that he was of her own flesh and blood a fruit of love that destingy denied her. Jagmohan Bakshi Sapan & Jagmohan were known music composers in the Hindi film industry. Together they did their first composition for Sadashiv Row Kavi’s Begaana, with Suprita Chowdhury. It was Sapan- Jagmohan's first film and the duo had to create good music to be recognised for their talents. Ten years prior to this, Jagmohan had sung the hit duet with Rafi ‘Ghir ghir aaye badarva re kaare’ in Kishore Sahu's film, Hamlet. Due to this association with Rafi, Jagmohan approached him to compose music for Begaana which had their remarkable score of ‘Phir woh bhooli si yaad aayee. Rafi went on to sing Sapan- Jagmohan’s best ever composition in his own unique style which is still remembered by all. Sapan Jagmohan’ s collection would include films like Call Girl, Lal Kothi (Lal Kuthi in Bengali), Begana, Mera Jeevan, Kaagaz ki Nau, Habari, Abhi To Jee Le, Chetna, Teri Talash Mein, and the serial Chunauti. Sapan - Jagmohan were a popular 1970s music composer duo made up of Sapan Sengupta and Jagmohan Bakshi. Most of their compositions were based on Naqsh Lyallpuri’s lyrics, but they also worked with lyricists like Indeevar, Shailendra and M.G. Hashmat.
