#Covid19 #Coronavirus #orangenews9tv #Lockdown #Ashokgehlot #madhyapradesh #Rajasthan #Sachinpilot #Jyotityascindia #Rahulgandhi #Karnataka #Telangana #BJP After losing Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh, the Congress appears on a shaky wicket in Rajasthan. Its Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot though pressed ‘panic buttons’ accusing BJP of poaching his party legislators, but expressed confidence to thwart it. He alleged that the main Opposition is planning a coup as it did in neighboring Madhya Pradesh a couple of months ago. He claimed that the BJP has approached as many as 24 legislators and offered Rs 10-15 crores each. What does it mean? His party legislators are willing to switch their loyalties for a price? Can there be anything more shameful and absurd than this? Listen to Ashok Gehlot what he said about the BJP. Perhaps, what Rajasthan Chief Minister Gehlot refuses to admit is that of his growing differences with his deputy Sachin Pilot. He is scared that Sachin Pilot may do what Jyotitya Scindia has done in neighboring Madhya Pradesh. Even Scindia aspired to become the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh after polls. But, the Congress thought otherwise and made senior Congress leader close to Gandhis as the Chief Minister. Similarly, Sachin Pilot, who worked hard to help his party win polls, was also denied chief ministership like his young friend in the neighboring state. Again, the Gandhi dynasts foisted old guard Ashok Gehlot, who held the fort in the past as Chief Minister. Talent and hard work of these two young leaders was overlooked by the party leadership to seniority. In that backdrop, none should be surprised, if Pilot raises the banner of revolt, sooner than later. In fact, the BJP is also accused of successfully dislodging two Congress governments – first in Karnataka and later in Madhya Pradesh. Even where it is in Opposition, the Congress legislators have become a ‘saleable commodity”. Telangana is the best example where, though it won 17 of the 117 assembly seats in 2018 elections, soon after the polls as many as 12 crossed over to the ruling TRS and forced the party to lose even the principle Opposition status, by handing it over to AMIM with 7 MLAs. One has to wait and see how long Gehlot can keep his flock together in Rajasthan.
