So is Lirika Matoshi's Strawberry dress worth it? Short answer is yes - but if you're interested in knowing really detailed step by step how this garment was made, all of its couture finishing techniques and WHY it's worth it based on the skill and labor of these incredible makers you should maybe watch the whole video! On first glance this dress looks very simple - stitch an outside and a lining of a dress, put it together and voila strawberry dress. BUT it's really so much more complex than that, and it took me a good two hours of just staring at it really hard to figure out the exact order in which this was made. I think this dress is also a really good example of what really elevates a couture garment from fast fashion. This dress has so many knock offs and replicas, and it would be really easy to cut corners to knock it out in just a few hours, but the care and detail that is put into this dress is seriously next level.
