In this video, "The Inspiration Behind Carving My Oak Wood Leaf Bowl", I hope to communicate how I came up with the idea for this project. I also show the 3D Modeling, wood stock selection, CNC router carving, and finishing. Although this is not technically a wood turning, it will hopefully still be of interest to those who enjoy new approaches to wood working. Additional notes: I demonstrate two-sided CNC router setup and technique for clamping thick stock to my spoil board.
