For years people have reported witnessing what has come to be called the "ghost train" late at night in the state of Lemoyne. It seemingly could only be seen briefly before it was gone as suddenly as it had appeared. Then one Halloween Night the ghost train was seen just as it had been many times before, but this time it rode the rails all night, circling around for hours in a thunderstorm that covered all of Lemoyne. One witness claimed to have seen a "ghost engineer" as well. People hid inside, only watching from their windows, and all regular train runs were canceled.
