Alfa Romeo 147 GTA Episode 15 - Powerflex Polyurethane Upper Engine Mount

Today we're back doing some mods to the Alfa Romeo 147 GTA. This is an old video so excuse the "Car Project Central" reference at the beginning, the new channel brand is here to stay don't worry! This is a really common issue on all Busso engines, the upper mount is made out of rubber and gives way pretty quickly. The correct way to solve this is to reuse your mount bracket and apply some polyurethane (PU) bushes so that this lasts almost forever. I did need my friend to push the bushes out using a press but apart from that its pretty easy to DIY. Apparently there is more engine noise or vibration as a side effect but I haven't really noticed anything major, perhaps the 3.2L Busso is just loud anyway! And I'm sure not many people would be complaining about it being louder since its the best engine noise in the world ha!
