The program began with a welcome by Mr. Ashish Kulkarni, Chairman, IIM Student Chapter, followed by an address from Dr. B. J. Chauhan, Head of Department, who emphasized the importance of research-driven learning and industry exposure. The Chairman of the IIM & AMPP Gujarat Chapter highlighted the legacy and objectives of IIM in advancing materials engineering. The expert session was delivered by Dr. R. K. Singh, Director – Business Transformation, CECA ASIA, who shared insights on composite materials, their design, manufacturing, properties, and applications in aerospace and defence. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Parth Marathe, Secretary, IIM Student Chapter, and proved to be an enriching learning experience for students.
