The storage of hydrogen plays a crucial role for a functioning hydrogen economy. Underground storage in caverns or pore storage facilities have been used in the natural gas market. The utilization of these storage options for hydrogen are already being tested and implemented in various projects. H2UGS in Bad Lauchstädt is one of the major projects under the Zwanzig20 funding programme. The know-how and experience gained by the project partners should be used for further projects of this kind. Therefore, HYPOS offers its members from this project the opportunity to present their specific range of services to potential customers.
