Pandora's Baked French Toast

One of my brunch favorites is my Baked French Toast! I begin prep for it the night before, and it's super easy to put together in the morning. Perfect for group meals because it can feed up to 8 people(if they eat like a normal person and not like me)! Ingredients: For the bread mix: -1 loaf French Bread(or Texas Toast) -8 eggs -2 cups milk -1 ½ cups half-n-half -2 tsp vanilla extract -1/4 tsp nutmeg -1/4 tsp allspice -1 Tbsp brown sugar For the syrup topping: 3/4 cup butter(1 1/2 sticks) 1 1/3 cups brown sugar 3 Tbsp light corn syrup Slice the load of bread and place into a buttered 9x13in. baking dish. Mix together the first group of ingredients and soak the bread. Cover and place in the fridge overnight. The next morning: preheat your oven to 350 F. Melt together the final group of ingredients in a small saucepan and pour over the soaked bread. Bake, uncovered, for 40 minutes or until the top is bubbly and crispy. Enjoy! Small disclaimers: I use non-dairy ingredients because I'm lactose intolerant. We don't cook with cinnamon in our home because Pablo is allergic, so I use nutmeg and allspice instead.
