Script: In this video, you'll learn how you can roll over 401(k) funds to a Self-Directed IRA to be able to invest in real estate with tax advantages. If you’re looking to invest a 401(k) into real estate, you won’t find the ability to do so in your 401(k) itself. However, there’s a much more exciting option that’s better designed for real estate investing with retirement funds. A Self-Directed IRA allows investment in various real estate opportunities, from rental properties to commercial real estate, providing potential for rental income and appreciation. You can roll over all or a portion of the funds in your 401(k) into your newly opened Self-Directed IRA. You will initiate your rollover with your current plan administrator and complete the required paperwork to roll over your funds to the new custodian, thus funding your new Self-Directed IRA.
