This is Sirui brand new series, the Vision Prime 1. I’m always impressed with their new ideas, They made a lowlight king nightwalker series, Autofocus Sniper series, Aurora full frame primes, and the autofocus anamorphic lenses. And now we have the new VP-1. So what’s so special about this new cine set. It is the interchangeable mounts. And this is a big deal. Nowadays we use a lot of different systems. We pick the right camera for the right job. Such as when we shoot in lowlight, we use the A7SIII/FX3, when we need to shoot in 6K opengate we use the S5IIX, and when you need to shoot 12Bit RAW video, we use the Canon R5 II/C80. But having multiple mounts could be expensive. So having interchangeable mounts are super handy. You can easily swap out the mount and use it on different camera. You don’t need to re-buy the same lens again. The VP-1 set is really sharp even at wide open. But you get quite a bit of vignetting. So the best is to stop it down to T2. Overall, I think this VP-1 cine set is amazing. Image quality is great. And 3 lenses are able the same weight. So you don’t have to worry about re-balance your gimbal. This is the part one of the VP-1 video. I’m going to work on the next set with different camera system.
