Do you ever have a day when nothing seems to want to go right? You try and you try to get things on track and to focus, but all your efforts are totally useless? That was me last Shabbat when I had in my mind exactly how everything was going to go and none of it worked out. Frazzled I showed up to our congregation feeling very overwhelmed and frustrated. There were some choreographed dances I planned on filming, but knowing I was in the wrong space for #Shabbat I decided to drop it all, pick a song and see what happens. I have to admit I'm a little surprised with the results of this spontaneous #worship. I sadly used to look down on this kind of random worship thinking it was too chaotic and disorderly. But Father has been teaching me that too much order turns into control which is just as detrimental as complete chaos. So I am learning to let go and let Father use His Spirit to move me how He sees fit. So far I am liking the outcome!
