The affordable housing crisis has left millions without a home, and that's even before the Coronavirus pandemic swept the nation. COVID-19 has made an already precarious economy even worse, and as the Black Lives Matter movement swept the nation after the police killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis, we cannot ignore that Black Americans and other people of color are disproportionately likely to be housing insecure and/or homeless.
