The Matachine came out of Europe in the 16. and 17. Century and evolved among indian people of northern Mexico and the Southwest. See some facettes of this history up to its parallels in architecture signs and petroglyphs. See the Matachine among the Rarámuri, Pueblos and Mayas, and in Tirol also.
