In this February 2026 episode of Down For Vegas, we stopped by the National Atomic Testing Museum to take a deep dive into Las Vegas' very close to home history with the atomic bomb. Next, in honor of Black History Month, we take a look at the center point of celebrating that history here in Las Vegas, the lasting legacy and impact of the Moulin Rouge Hotel and Casino. Then, there's a new sculpture on display at Las Vegas Civic Center in downtown Las Vegas! We sat down with local artist Krystal Ramirez to learn about "The Night We Met." Afterwards, it's the year of the horse! We stopped by local business China Mama to try some authentic Lunar New Year cuisine. Lastly, it's a great time of year to get outside and into the nature surrounding Las Vegas. We took a furry friend along for the ride to find some easy, dog-friendly trails to hike in Las Vegas!
