[CLIENT SUCCESS] From Cancer to IVF & Motherhood: Carrie’s Story of Resilience, Hope & Her Daughter

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, & I’m so honored to share with story of hope & resilience with you. In the latest episode of Soulful IVF I highlight a conversation with my former client, Carrie whose story embodies what it means to hold onto hope even when life takes an unexpected turn. After 6 IUIs and 1 egg retrieval, Carrie was preparing for an embryo transfer when she received a life-changing diagnosis: breast cancer. Her fertility journey came to a sudden halt as she began two years of cancer treatments and surgeries, including 16 rounds of chemotherapy. Through it all, she held tightly to her dream of becoming a mom and seeing her husband become a dad. Once her treatments were complete, Carrie sought a new, more soulful path forward—working with Lisa as her fertility coach and connecting with a hypnotherapist @herworldhypnosis who I recommended connecting with for additional support. Together, they helped her process the heavy emotions, expand her circle of support, and find gratitude even in the hardest moments. Carrie’s journey reminds us that hope and healing can coexist, and that opening your heart to new forms of support can create space for miracles. After another egg retrieval, she received one precious embryo — the embryo that became her daughter, Ella now 20 months old.
